After installation, make sure you have your hardware key. You will also need Administrative privileges.
A hardware key will NOT authorize when using Windows Remote Desktop or any other type of terminal server .
Do not insert the Hardware key until directed to do so.
During the driver installation Genesys must be run as Administrator.

Log in as Administrator.

Browse to the directory where Genesys was installed (default is C:\Program Files\Genesys(*Version)\bin), right click Genesys.exe and choose Run As Administrator. (*Version) is the version of interest, i.e. 2007.03.

You should have received a hardware key (dongle).

Run Genesys as Administrator.
If Genesys starts running (instead of the Authorize screens), pull down the Genesys Help menu and choose Update Authorization Info
For Product Options click Purchased Software and Next.
For Licensing Options click Genesys Hardware Key and Next.
If this is a new Genesys installation, the HASP driver will begin installing automatically (skip to the next step).
If you have an older version of Genesys, and it runs properly, select No in the driver upgrade prompt that pops up
At The process must be run again, prompt click OK.
At Do you want to try again? prompt insert the USB key and click Yes.
Repeat steps 3 through 5, clicking Next for both the Product Options and Licensing Options.
The next screen will show your key number. If you have internet connection click next and your codes should download automatically, skip to step 11.
If you do not have internet connection you will need to manually enter the codes. These codes are usually sent to you as an attachment ( for example a file WXYZ.LIC).
Open the file WXYZ.LIC with a text editor and follow the directions below to enter the codes
Click Finish. If there is an issue, you will be returned to the initial Authorize screen, click cancel, close Genesys if it's running, re-start Genesys and repeat all steps starting at #1.
Genesys will start.
